As the past few years has brought an explosion of popularity surrounding Açaí bowls, I have come to find their isolating factor of success to be the smooth and creamy texture which is often misinterpreted to be unattainable at home. After many attempts of trial and error, I think have found a way for both teens and adults to bring the luxury of açaí into everyday life.
The Base

With so many varieties and options in smoothie bowls, it can be tricky to pick just one. My personal favorite is a mixture of frozen açaí, banana, blackberries, and blueberries. The açaí berry isolates itself from other fruits with its high fat, low carb content combo. In this, it is not only filling, but can be smoothly blended into a bowl full of antioxidants. Frozen bananas are a crucial factor in any smoothie bowl since, when blended, they often resemble the texture of creamy ice cream. For the sake of both flavor and rich purple pigment, I almost always add blackberries and blueberries. Though if you are wishing to a sweeter bowl, I recommend adding frozen strawberries and pineapple. Without liquid, I high pulse blend these ingredients into fine pieces. Then, I add a touch of oat milk and leave the blender on the lowest setting for 1-2 minutes.
The Toppings

After mastering the texture of your base, the second (and final!) step is to prepare and choose your toppings. I usually stick to two fruits (diced if larger like pineapple or mango) and one type of granola, seeds, and nut butter. Today, I chose to use blueberries, pineapple, plain granola, chia seeds, and peanut butter to top my bowl. Specifically, I'm excited to share with you the nut butter I have recently obsessed over: 100% peanuts. It contains no added sugar, oil, or salt. Finally, I like to add a sweeter element such as cocoa nibs, honey, or coconut flakes.

Although many may be excited to stage an attempt at making a bowl at home, I know some may also wish to purchase their bowls from a nearby location. Here are my favorites:

New in Severna Park:

Although I – and many others, it seems – had grown used to seeing them listed under $8,000 or so, that link just isn't reality link today. Case in point: In link the last week, Christie's sold an example for $22,500 and Sotheby's for $17,640.
ID Genève's most recent release is the "Circular S," a collection of six dial variants housed in a 100% recycled steel case and link refurbished Swiss-made ETA link 2824 automatic movements sourced from unsold stock. More than just link workhorse movements that were available as unsold stock, ID Genève chose the ETA 2824 because it's one of the most easily repairable movements worldwide, which they hope will reduce the waste of these watches one day being cast aside if they stop working.
